Potstickers & Sausage w/ Vodka Sauce

When it comes to cooking there are no rules, If I want to use potstickers in an Italian recipe then Im gonna do it. Potstickers are fantastic and loaded with meat and when you coat them in a creamy vodka sauce you have got something special!!
Potstickers Ala Vodka
Ingredients:
16 oz ground Italian sausage
16oz package of potstickers
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup marinara
2oz vodka
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1 tablespoon Sriracha (optional)
1 tbsp chives
2 tablespoons ricotta (optional)
Instructions:
Brown off sausage then removed from the pan and set aside. Place frozen potstickers in the pan with one 4th cup of water.. cover with lid and cook for about five minutes until tender.
Add in vodka and cook for one minute until burned off. Then add the sausage back in along with garlic, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese and marinara and simmer over medium low heat for 2 to 3 more minutes until the sauce has thickened.
Garnish with ricotta, freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chives.
*Notes
If you don’t want to use vodka you can substitute chicken or vegetable stock.
Obviously this recipe will work with any traditional pasta
Substitute the sausage with ground beef, turkey or chicken for some variation.
